Total space of the IV Integrated Safety & Security Exhibition in 2011 comprised of 25500 sq.m. In 2011 the Ministry of Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (EMERCOM of Russia) and Ministry of the Interior – organizers of the ISSE – expanded territory of the Exhibition, and this helped to widen its geographical borders. That’s why main specialists and manufacturers of 17 countries of the world – Austria, Belarus, United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, Italy, Canada, China, Netherlands, UAE, Russia, USA, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland and France among them – took part in ISSE 2011. That actual variety of ISSE participants encouraged discussions of International Security and exchange of experience between different countries. 447 of foreign exhibitors were able to demonstrate their developments in the field of security, and 14252 specialists got acquainted with the innovations of integrated safety and security from the three parts of the world.

36 business events supported by EMERCOM of Russia, the Ministry of the Interior and RosoboronExport were held within ISSE 2011. The importance of integrated approach in providing security was the main thesis of all congresses, scientific conferences, seminars and presentations concerned with security.

Large-scale training exercises of Tactical Assault Groups of EMERCOM and the Ministry of Interior took place on the closing day of the Exhibition and showed more than 50 models of special military vehicles in action. Government of Russia considers ISSE to be the event of tremendous

significance, and the exhibition was visited and officially opened by the Vice Prime Minister of Russia, Sergey Ivanov. Security always used to be the basis of constitutional state, and that is why the Government pays special attention to security that can be perceived by all citizens.

The Organizers of the V-International Safety & Security Exhibition expect increase of Exhibitors and further expansion of geography of the exhibition. In addition to the existing program, a special business program that meets strict conditions according to CIS’ and Russian interior market demands of safety will be thoroughly negotiated.

A significant feature of Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition is an effective mean of cooperation between executive authorities and representatives of medium and small business of Russia. This peculiarity not only helps to establish mutually-beneficial cooperation between The State and Business, but also to increase the level of life safety of our country.
