The Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition timely responds to all new challenges and threats

2011 September events make us pay special attention to the transport problems, especially to dangerous loads transportation system and terminals’ safety. The Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition will represent technical means exposure, these means will help to increase the transport safety level and protect people from chemical threats.

According to the head of EMERCOM of Russia Sergey Shoigu’s statement elimination measures of the railway accident consequences in Chelyabinsk region, where bromine leakage happened earlier, were timely taken. But not everything and not always depends on the rescuers reaction and coherence, dozens of people died because of the toxic fumes. The number of victims makes us reassess the transport infrastructure condition, as well as the state and businesses approach to organizing dangerous loads transportation.

For development and realization of effective measures to increase the transport safety level and to protect people from chemical threats experience exchange between different structures – state subjects, carriers and technical means developers is needed. The Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition (ISSE) which will be held in May 2012, and its form, gives us an opportunity to meet and cooperate not only in transport safety sphere but in adjoined fields like means of rescue and disaster medicine as well. In addition to that ISSE shows transport safety industry’s latest developments.

Every year within ISSE a special “Transport Safety and Security” exhibition is organized. In 2012 best Russian and foreign companies’ technologies and equipment for dangerous loads transportation and other sections like the antiterrorism prevention and fighting technical means, transport terminals, viaducts, city public transport, airports, railway stations and seaports’ safety systems will be presented at the trade show.

According to the head of the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin’s words: “The Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition demonstrates all new ways of providing the state safety from interior and exterior threats every year. The transport safety problem is topical now and I am sure that the ISSE will help to find its solutions”.

In 2012 the ISSE will be held from 22 to 25 May on the territory of All-Russia Exhibition Centre hall 75. Currently there is formation of exposures of business and demonstration programs. More on the ISSE preparations on http://www.isse-russia.ru/en .
